Hyperthyroidism – ayurvedic treatment for cure

I write as headline in my Quora (Vaidya Ajit Karan) that my Hyperthyroidism was cured by Ayurveda. It had happened in 1999, my age 35 then. Was on Carbimazole 5 mg tab twice daily for two years.

Other than Yog, the following medicines were given to me –

1. Gandamala Kandan Ras 90 Vati (each of 375 mg)/month
2. Kachnar Guggul 60 Vati (each of 500 mg)/month
3. Tankan Bhasma 15 gram/60 puriya (each of 250 mg) per month
4. Nirgundi Oil 30 ml (for external application on the neck)
5. Vaat Gajankush Ras 120 vati (each of 250 mg) per month

I took these for one year then got the thyroid test done. Report was normal. it is still normal – as per symptoms and health conditions.

When I started practicing as an Ayurvedic Practitioner, I gave these to some patients. They complained of some complications. Told them, I also faced these. Best solution is to stop all medicines for few days then restart. They stopped forever.
